STORM-SIMPKINS (2020)
This group flat out gets after you on the defensive end of the court.  A true reflection of their coach, these young ladies are "pitbulls" once the pressure is turned up.  They have had an outstanding Spring and have been champions or co-champions at least three tournaments this year.  This group works hard and are one of the best 2020 teams in Michigan.  We are expecting great things from them in the future.
JORDAN BANKS-2020: 5'10" Wing/Bloomfield Hills High School.  Has made incredible strides in the past year due to her work ethic and attitude.  Jordan is an athletic wing who is extremely versatile and active.  She can knock down the jumper and can get to the rack.  Tremendous upside that will be realized because of her love of the game and the fact that she has embraced the process.
KADYN BLANCHARD-2020: 5'7" Guard/Freeland High School. Outstanding shooter who is capable of putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rack.  Grounded in the fundamentals, Kadyn is extremely coachable and always plays hard.  A very good addition to the Program.
LAUREN COURTRIGHT-2021: 5'10" Wing/Forsyth Middle School.  An eigth grader, Lauren has an incredibly high ceiling.  Already a deadly midrange shooter, she also has demonstrated her defensive range while playing up -- she is capable of guarding multiple positions on the court.  One to watch in the Class of 2021.
DeSHELLE FARVER-2020: 6'0" Forward/Detroit Edison High School. An extremely long wing, DeShelle stretches the floor extremely well.  Although a good three-point shooter, she also has shown this Spring that she can get it done inside. She is a very good rebounder who will quietly move up the "charts" in the 2020 Class due to her strong work ethic.
ALAINA HEETDERKS-2020: 5'9" Wing/Ann Arbor Skyline High School.  A coach's dream! This young lady works tirelessly and is always interested in doing what is necessary for the TEAM.  Alaina is a capable shooter and is very smart.  She will continue to get the maximum out of her abilities due to her work ethic and attitude.
NYVIA LYLES-2020: 5'2" Guard/Bloomfield Hills High School. "The Ball Stopper."  This young lady simply locks people up by applying relentless ball pressure and by having the demeanor of a pitbull.  She creates turnovers and fastbreak opportunities for the team by being a "1-man press."
REEYA PATEL-2020: 5'5"Guard/Ann Arbor Huron High School. "The Coach."  Reeya plays with tremendous basketball IQ and poise.  She is a true point guard and an extension of the coach while running the team.  She distributes well but will make you pay if you fall asleep by knocking down the jumper or going to the rack.  A coach's dream.
ATHENA SAMSON-2020: 6'0" Center/Troy High School. A late addition to the squad, and still rounding back into shape due to a previous injury, Athena has made an immediate impact on the team.  She is a rim protector and a good rebounder.  She also has soft hands and has shown that she is a capable finisher.  Very intriguing prospect.
NYA THOMAS-2021: 5'7" Guard/McBride Middle School. This young lady has great upside and possesses qualities that you can't teach.  She is as determined and as competitive as any player in the Program and is unafraid.  Already a good defender, her work ethic and love for the game will cause her to be on everyone's "radar" in the future.
OLIVIA WARREN-2020: 5'5" Guard/Walled Lake Western High School. If you leave her open you may as well get ready to take the ball out.  This young lady plays with swag and is unafraid of the big moments.  Pure heart and hustle.
CURTISEY WILLIAMS-2020: 5'7" Wing/River Rouge High School. The ultimate zone-buster, Curtisey can shoot it from DEEP.  Extremely long, she has the opportunity to do special things.
LAMARIYEE "SUGA" WILLIAMS-2020: 5'7" Guard/River Rouge High School. She breaks defenses down with the best of them and finishes with strength at the rack. She simply has "it."  Tough on both ends of the court, she will end up being recognized as one of the best players in the Class of 2020 in Michigan before all is said and done.
